This angular abstract staircase formed part of a new build residence in Wimbledon Village. The staircase spans from basement to second floor, twisting and contorting its oiled solid steel balustrade up through the house. Layers of ply wood strips create a ribbed and continuous soffit which undulates within the geometry of stair.
The hardwood treads and handrail is pulled away from the walls and landings, exaggerated by concealed lighting which leads you on accent or decent.
