Andrew studied architecture at Cambridge University and urban design at Harvard University. He has over 25 years' experience on all scales of design and has worked in a variety of established practices including Yorke Rosenberg Mardall, Sir Colin StJohn Wilson and Partners, Pollard Thomas Edwards, Anthony Ng Architects (Hong Kong) and Denton Corker Marshall finally becoming a partner at Holden Harper Architects in 1999. Over the next 14 years Andrew gained a reputation for high quality bespoke residential design in and around Wimbledon and south London. He set up Andrew Harper Architects in 2012. Andrew has taught architecture at Kingston and Westminster Universities as well as being a visiting critic at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, South Bank University, the Architectural Association and Boston University.

James qualified as an architect and became associate at AHA in 2013. He has broad and varied experience working on private residential schemes, predominately new build homes in Wimbledon Village and the surrounding areas. James has worked on many large basement extensions with private leisure facilities and swimming pools. His background includes large mixed-use residential and commercial projects around south London and Surrey. Having practiced in small architect firms and working closely with the director, James is well versed in all RIBA work stages and has close involvement with clients as well as having a lead role in the development and promotion of the practice.
Holly joined Andrew Harper Architects in February 2018. She has a degree in Property Marketing, Design & Development from the University of Portsmouth. She is currently completing her professional qualifications to become a Chartered Architectural Technologist. Holly’s passion lies mainly in the residential sector; however, she has also worked on commercial and interior design projects. Her skills include focusing on residential design and construction and organization and is always striving to expand her knowledge and develop her skill base. Holly is fully proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit. Outside the office Holly is a keen walker and pet lover.

Since joining AHA in 2015 Chris has focused on high quality residential schemes on which AHA prides itself in producing working on new house projects and bespoke extensions. His previous work including working for larger commercial firms in the North East of England, Chris relished the chance to be closely involved with local projects at all stages: from inception to completion. Balancing study alongside work Chris enjoys squash, kayaking, hiking and photography - as well as travelling whenever, and wherever, possible.
Karen has been at AHA from the very beginning and has the important task of managing all aspects of administration and finance. Previously Karen has a background in marketing and held the position of Marketing Director at Coopers and Lybrand Hong Kong.
